out of town for the week, SSA fielded a pumped-up squad of 69 swimmers who

Diane Richard was proud to note that 44 of the team’s 69 swimmers scored, and 23
attained State Qualifying Times. “I
thought that our team was very balanced tonight, and some of our newer swimmers
are really starting to contribute,” said Richard. Assistant Coaches Marcos Abril and Steve
Hamlet noted that the team has some fine-tuning to work on, but feel that
they’re heading in the right direction with the District Meet a mere month
away.
Scottsboro hits the road for the first
time this summer to tackle Boaz Thursday night.
